Seven bedrooms of contemporary luxury above the Andaman, every one with its own bathroom. The main floor is a single open room for living, dining and cooking, in earthy, sophisticated finishes, opening onto an infinity pool with six sunbeds and a wide alfresco dining terrace. Two masters, each with a bathtub and an ocean view; the remaining rooms look over garden or sea. There is a bunk room built for children, twin over full, with bean bags and its own bathroom. Meals happen either on the outdoor sala or around a fourteen seat table indoors, with a private chef available to cook whatever the group wants. Downstairs there is an exercise room and a quiet entertainment area beside it. Small pocket gardens are folded through the property for anyone who wants to disappear for an hour.
What this villa asks of us
Narissa runs at the scale of a small hotel with none of a hotel’s machinery. Seven ensuites, a fourteen seat dining operation and a private chef service all need staffing and provisioning to a fixed standard, week in and week out.
